Edit educational short-form content and turn existing footage into content that tells our story across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, blog posts, and more. Be a key member of an agile, high performing content creation team aimed at helping people around the world become sovereign and build great lives.

The Video Editor will be accountable for:

  • 2-5+ years experience video editing needed

  • Editing educational short-form videos (click here for example) and story-telling short-form videos (click here for example) that will be published across TikTok, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, blog posts, Linkedin, etc.

  • Being a key member of the content team to grow our social following and awareness to 2 million followers in the next 12 months

  • Obsess over video performance and social follower and viewership growth

  • Coming up with new creative ways to improve, new video ideas, etc

  • Keeping footage well organized

  • Edit long-form Youtube vlog-style videos (most editing will be short-form though)

  • Edit promotional videos, such as for new campaign launches

  • Work with Jaymie (Azhen co-founder) and the team at One Peak Creative to strategize for a full-length documentary (think similar to the “Biggest Little Farm” documentary)

  • You’ll be involved in editing a pilot for that and potentially full episodes

  • Working cohesively and communicating effectively with videographers and content publishers on the team

  • Photo and graphic editing experience is a bonus

  • Reporting and sharing results in weekly meetings

  • Helping out and learning in other areas

    • We are a small team so we tend to jump around and help out in different areas. Plus, it keeps things interesting and lets everyone learn.

  • Looking after your personal health with weekly fitness and mindfulness goals

  • This position is eligible for a Creative Director role in the future

Salary

  • $4-5000+/month starting (competitive)

  • Higher targets will be discussed to get you to your goals

  • Paid training

  • 3 month onboarding period (some benefits kick in right away, others will kick in when the onboarding period is complete)
